The early 1900s, a renowned enologist – these are the ingredients from which our story begins: a story built on technique, vision, and concreteness. A dream that started when the brilliant Arnaldo Strucchi (1853-1913), through his book “IL VERMOUTH DI TORINO” published in 1907, set the guidelines for today’s regulations, laying the foundation for the establishment of the Vermouth di Torino Consortium, which preserves and promotes ancient traditions. Thanks to this visionary enologist who inspired us, we have created a range of products capable of reinterpreting the flavors and heritage of the era in mixology.
"Since the earliest times, wine has held the highest honours. In our times, these honours not only did not wane, but, on the contrary, rose to the scientists, entered the imagination of poets. But if scientists dictated norms and hinted at flaws, and poets sang of its beneficial effects, the enologist, a practical man, eliminated the flaws..."
Arnaldo Strucchi was a legend, just like MiTo, one of the most famous cocktails in Italian mixology, the Milano Torino, made with Vermouth and Bitter Aperitivo. For this reason, we have decided to complete the range by adding a Bitter, which perfectly blends with our Vermouth Rosso.
